It was first constructed in year 1604 and
was later was rebuilt in  year 1764.
 
The food kitchen is one of the largest in the world. It typically
feeds about 40,000 thousands attendees and visitors of all
faiths free daily. On religious functions and occasions the attendance can go upto 100,000 and food is so prepared
and served free. The vast kitchen is equipped with large
manual and automatic food preparation equipments,
tools and fire places. The human service is provided
largely is by free religious volunteers with a very
nominal paid services included. The temple is 
a famous scenic and beautiful place with 
its glamorous golden coating attracting
visitors from the world.
