Wishing you al a very happy and prosperous Nandana Hindu New Year
While every one of us enjoying the New Year wishing all their friends , relatives and others, making new year resolutions and invariably breaking them, life goes on in search of earning bread and butter for us and our loved ones.
TV channels and Newspapers go on rattling about the year that was, the events that took place some of which were planned but did not happen, appointments and disappointments, hope and despair, etc. We simply glance through pass some comments and go on and follow our daily routine however, monotonous or boring it may be.
When we talk of change, it has to begin from us, then our family, then the neighbourhood, the street, the colony, the city, state and the country. One man Anna Hazare, Baba Ramdev or thousands of Mahatmas, Vivekananda, Acharyas, Gurus, etc can not change it.
The mindset has to change. We have to consider for welfare of our fellow human beings. Ruling Governments are behaving like tyrants and sucking blood of people in form of various taxes while corruption is rampant in highest to lowest corridors. Anarchy, violence, terror is the most common scenery of the day. Thousands of Ravanas, Kansa, Duryodhanas are roaming in every nook and corner of the country. Why this "Kolaveri" ?
If we take the strength of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and the number of representatives of the people in different assemblies all over the country their strength would be maximum 25000 in number. But when they thing they are Gods and can control the lives of 120 billion people of the country the disaster is inevitable. They go on raising their perks and facilities at the cost of Tax payer's money as if it is their birth right and impose newer taxes on hapless citizens for their comfort.
All I can do is just pray
“ Ishwar Allah, tero naam, Sab ko sanmati de bhagwan".
“Oh God Almighty give sat buddhi(good thoughts and mind) to all the people in this universe so that there is no hatred, terrorism, oppression, cheating, hoarding, black marketeering, etc.
We wish that this New Year brings at least some change and let us make this world better place.
There is a saying
“We have not inherited this universe from our forefathers, but we are the custodians who have the responsibility to make it better when we hand over the same to our children”.
